IT Project Manager - Healthcare Systems Implementation

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead two critical healthcare technology implementation projects for a leading care organization. This is a 12-month contract position offering full remote working flexibility with occasional travel across the UK as required.

The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end implementation of two key systems: a workforce planning solution and a digital patient care records platform. These projects are essential to modernizing healthcare operations and improving patient care delivery through digital transformation.

Key responsibilities include overseeing all phases of system implementation from planning through to go-live, managing relationships with third-party vendors and external implementation partners, and ensuring seamless coordination between technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role requires strong project management skills with the ability to deliver complex IT projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a hands-on Project Manager with specific expertise in healthcare IT system implementations. Experience with workforce planning or patient care record systems is highly desirable, as is a demonstrated background working within the care industry. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams across different locations.
