MEP Engineer - Data Center Infrastructure Projects

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to support the design, coordination, installation, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across large-scale hyperscale and mission-critical data center projects. This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading provider of customized data center solutions supporting enterprise and hyperscale customers across North America.

The successful candidate will work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, design consultants, and commissioning partners to ensure all MEP systems are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include supporting the delivery and coordination of all MEP systems throughout the project lifecycle, reviewing construction drawings and specifications for compliance, and coordinating with contractors and vendors to resolve design and installation conflicts.

Additional duties involve monitoring field installation activities, conducting site inspections, supporting QA/QC processes, and assisting with startup, testing, and commissioning activities for critical infrastructure systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, chilled water systems, and building management controls.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. Experience in MEP engineering, field engineering, or mission-critical construction environments is required, with hyperscale or data center project experience strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong understanding of critical MEP infrastructure systems, ability to read construction drawings and technical documentation, and familiarity with construction technologies such as Procore, Bluebeam, BIM 360, or AutoCAD.
