Electrical Power Systems Manager

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Power Systems Manager to lead our engineering team responsible for spacecraft electrical power system architecture and development. This leadership role combines technical expertise with people management in the aerospace industry, specifically focusing on small satellite systems for government applications.

As the EPS Manager, you will oversee a team of engineers while serving as the primary technical authority for electrical power systems across multiple spacecraft platforms. The position requires strong leadership skills to manage staffing, provide technical oversight, and mentor team members while ensuring successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include defining and maintaining spacecraft EPS architectures, coordinating with cross-functional teams including harnessing, flight software, and mission engineering groups. You will provide critical cost and schedule inputs to programs, support proposal efforts, and lead technical issue resolution throughout the development lifecycle.

The role involves significant process improvement initiatives, including developing schedule templates, creating technical documentation, and implementing tools for better cost and schedule modeling. You will work closely with program leadership, hardware teams, and manufacturing to ensure alignment and successful delivery of flight hardware.

This position requires U.S. citizenship due to security clearance requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical power systems for aerospace applications, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, complex programs.
