Technical Payroll Analyst - Zellis ResourceLink Assessment

We are seeking an experienced Technical Payroll Analyst with specialized Zellis expertise to conduct a comprehensive review and assessment of an existing payroll setup and reporting environment. This role focuses on analyzing the current ResourceLink platform implementation, including detailed examination of payroll data structures, tables, and legacy payroll information.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness and accuracy of current reporting processes, reviewing payroll outputs such as payslips, P60s, and pensions processing workflows. A key aspect of this position involves assessing whether the current system configuration is fit for purpose and providing strategic insights to support future system decisions.

Key responsibilities include conducting thorough analysis of the Zellis payroll environment and its configuration, examining payroll data structures and historical data integrity, evaluating reporting processes for accuracy and efficiency, and identifying opportunities for system improvements and optimization. The role also involves risk assessment and providing recommendations for enhanced payroll operations.

The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on experience working with Zellis payroll systems, particularly ResourceLink, along with strong technical payroll analysis capabilities. A solid understanding of payroll reporting mechanisms and data structures is essential, as is the ability to assess complex payroll configurations and identify improvement opportunities.

This is an initial 3-month contract position based in the East Midlands, with potential for extension based on project requirements. The role operates inside IR35 and offers hybrid working arrangements, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site presence. An immediate start is available for the right candidate who can demonstrate the required technical expertise and analytical skills.
