For our client, we are searching for an experienced Technology Test Manager (m/f/) ETL to support a complex banking IT migration project.

The project focuses on the controlled migration of data and processes from legacy systems to a new target platform within a complex banking IT landscape. It includes extensive ETL activities and requires coordinated testing across multiple systems, environments, and stakeholders. Due to the criticality of the data and its impact on downstream banking and reporting processes, comprehensive test management is essential to ensure data integrity, system stability, and regulatory compliance. The project spans mainframe and client-server technologies and involves close collaboration between business and IT teams.

- Own and manage the end-to-end test strategy, test planning, and execution for the Ellipse migration - Lead ETL test activities, including scope definition, execution control, defect tracking, and reconciliation support - Coordinate and support test environment management across multiple systems and platforms - Define and maintain test concepts and test environment concepts aligned with banking IT standards - Manage defect lifecycle, including prioritization, escalation, and coordination with development and infrastructure teams - Provide regular, structured test status reporting to project management and senior stakeholders - Moderate workshops, test reviews, and alignment meetings with IT and business stakeholders - Ensure testing covers complex banking architectures, including mainframe and client/server systems - Identify, document, and manage cross-system and business dependencies impacting testing - Support tool-based test management and documentation (e.g. Jira, Zephyr, Confluence)

- Proven experience as Test Manager in large-scale IT or migration projects - Strong hands-on experience in defect management and test reporting - Solid understanding of structured test methodologies and test governance - Experience with test environment management in complex IT landscapes - Banking sector experience with good understanding of core banking processes - Experience with mainframe and client/server technologies - Strong stakeholder management and moderation skills in multi-party setups - Excellent presentation skills, including senior-level reporting - Fluency in English (spoken and written)

- Experience in ETL and data migration projects - Hands-on experience with Jira and Zephyr test management - Familiarity with regulatory, finance, or reporting systems - Knowledge of core banking, credit, payments, or trade finance systems
