- Skill & Integration Development: Design and implement scalable integrations (APIs, services, MCP interfaces) that expose internal and external systems as reusable skills for AI agents - API & Service Design: Build and maintain clean, well-documented APIs and services that support modular and reusable architecture - Reliability & Performance: Ensure integrations are robust, observable, and performant, with proper error handling and monitoring - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with AI and Data Engineers within a shared backlog, contributing to end-to-end delivery rather than isolated components

- Very good experience with Databricks & good experience with Azure - Experience integrating backend services with Databricks and Azure environments - Good experience working in AI-driven environments - Backend Development & APIs: Strong experience in building APIs and backend services (REST, event-driven architectures) - Python (must) + optional other languages: Strong programming skills for building services and integrations - Distributed Systems Basics: Understanding of asynchronous processing, queues, and scalable architectures - DevOps & Terraform automation: For automation and deployment at scale IaaC and DevOps principles are important

Staffing process for freelance specialists

1. Analysis of qualifications

We carry out a detailed analysis of your technical qualifications on the basis of your CV, your application documents and your profile.

2. Telephone or personal interview

We would like to get to know you better in a personal conversation. Your personal contact would be pleased to advise you and clarify any outstanding questions about your qualifications. In this way, your profile will be expanded to include a few more skills if necessary.

3. Contact with customers

We compare your qualifications and targets with the expectations of our customers. As soon as we have found a suitable project for you, we will contact you and introduce you to your potential project partners. If you are interested in the project, we will contact the customers. Then a personal discussion will take place with the project partner.

4. Contract with Hays

If both parties are interested in collaborating, all of the relevant framework conditions will be agreed with Hays. Hays then acts as a contractual partner for both parties. In other words, a contract is drawn up between you and Hays and the company and Hays.
