- The customer is a major organisation undergoing a significant digital transformation within its Information Systems & Digital (TDSI) division. The environment is structured, international, and strongly process-driven, with a focus on improving operational performance through modernisation of applications and business workflows. Teams work in Agile mode and collaborate closely across development, business analysis, UX, testing, and operations - The local work environment in Lausanne offers an excellent balance of innovation and stability. The region hosts many large institutions across finance, insurance, technology, and public services, providing a rich ecosystem for IT roles. The customer values quality, transparency, and collaboration, and supports consultants with well-defined processes, clear governance, and a supportive delivery team — including the successful consultant you already have in place

- The candidate will support the customer’s digital transformation by ensuring that all business processes function reliably across multiple interconnected systems - Their mission is to design, plan, and execute integration and cross-functional tests within an Agile team - This includes analysing requirements, validating end-to-end flows, identifying defects, collaborating closely with developers and business stakeholders, and ensuring that each release meets the expected quality standards - The candidate will also contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods and deliver clear reporting to project leaders

- Proven experience in system integration testing, functional testing, API testing, and UI/non-regression testing / Strong ability to design BPT/UAT scenarios based on business processes - Familiarity with frontend and backend testing principles - Solid understanding of structured QA methodologies (ISTQB is an asset) - Hands-on experience with Jira, Xray, Confluence, and Postman or similar API testing tools - Comfortable working in Agile Scrum teams - Experience in a regulated environment (ideally finance, insurance, or healthcare) - Ability to navigate large organisations with structured release cycles and strict documentation requirements - Very strong French (C1+) for daily stakeholder interaction / Professional English (B2+) - Proactive mindset, autonomy, problem-solving ability, and strong communication skills - Capacity to challenge existing practices and propose improvements

Staffing process for freelance specialists

1. Analysis of qualifications

We carry out a detailed analysis of your technical qualifications on the basis of your CV, your application documents and your profile.

2. Telephone or personal interview

We would like to get to know you better in a personal conversation. Your personal contact would be pleased to advise you and clarify any outstanding questions about your qualifications. In this way, your profile will be expanded to include a few more skills if necessary.

3. Contact with customers

We compare your qualifications and targets with the expectations of our customers. As soon as we have found a suitable project for you, we will contact you and introduce you to your potential project partners. If you are interested in the project, we will contact the customers. Then a personal discussion will take place with the project partner.

4. Contract with Hays

If both parties are interested in collaborating, all of the relevant framework conditions will be agreed with Hays. Hays then acts as a contractual partner for both parties. In other words, a contract is drawn up between you and Hays and the company and Hays.
