Role combines system-level testing expertise with DevOps skills, including AWS deployment, infrastructure testing, and customer installations. Position involves hardware testing on-site in Vienna and technical documentation.

We're seeking a seasoned System Engineer with Focus on Software Deployment and Testing who merges hands-on system-level testing expertise with robust DevOps skills. In this role, you will blend: - Testing of the entire system landscape, including infrastructure, deployment, and environment configuration We're looking for an engineer who understands how complex systems are deployed and operated—and can validate them effectively.

Perform hands-on testing across the entire system Support deployment and configuration in AWS-based environments Hardware testing on site in Vienna Partly overlooking the software development progress for specific projects

Proven experience in system-level software testing (manual and structured technical testing) Solid hands-on experience with AWS environments Excellent Linux knowledge, including command line usage and shell scripting Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) Understanding of infrastructure, deployment processes, and environment configuration Understanding of REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, or similar) Ability to understand and validate complex systems and configurations Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Jest, Testing Library, Cypress) Solid SQL knowledge (e.g., PostgreSQL) Understanding of Java code (reading and understanding; development not required) Experience with Windows environments and administration Experience with secure identity or document management solutions

Strong engineering mindset with ownership for development and system quality Able to understand complex systems beyond frontend scope Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently across development, infrastructure, and deployment Collaborative and clear communicator
