Site Reliability Engineer (m/w/d)

For our client in the greater Mannheim area we are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (m/w/d).

Operate and maintain Kubernetes-based platforms, including Helm chart configuration and lifecycle management Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD Maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for scalable and repeatable environments Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Go, Bash) for provisioning, monitoring, and reporting Configure and operate monitoring and observability platforms, including Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana/Perses Create and maintain custom alerts, PromQL queries, and dashboards Operate and optimize log management systems (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Logstash, Kibana) Ensure secure, scalable, and compliant logging and monitoring aligned with enterprise standards Participate in 24x7 on-call operations, including weekends and public holidays Perform incident analysis, root cause analysis, and problem resolution Actively support Major Incident Management (MIM) processes with internal and external teams Maintain documentation (runbooks, architecture diagrams, configurations) in version-controlled systems Ensure operations comply with EU data protection regulations and VSA/GHB standards

Strong knowledge of Linux systems, preferably in Kubernetes environments Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and REST APIs Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash Experience with Git-based configuration and version control workflows Hands-on experience with CI/CD and deployment tools (Helm, Jenkins, ArgoCD) Practical experience with Elasticsearch and/or OpenSearch Fluent English communication skills
