For our client we are currently looking for a Network Security Consultant (m/f/d) - Poland / Remote.

- Manage and maintain security platforms including Proxy, IDS/IPS, Web Filtering and Firewall Assurance, ensuring continuous optimization of security protocols - Review and enforce firewall policies to ensure compliance with company security standards and regulatory requirements - Audit firewall assurance processes, validate global process flows, review approvals, and ensure alignment with best practices - Implement and adjust firewall policy changes to maintain compliance and strengthen security posture - Collaborate with the Network Security team and other departments to support cohesive security operations - Communicate security operations status and incidents to stakeholders, providing recommendations for improvements and risk mitigation - Generate and deliver detailed reports on security posture, system performance, incident resolution, and policy compliance - Provide strategic recommendations for enhancements to security processes and infrastructure based on operational insights

- Solid understanding of network security concepts, including ports, protocols, and the associated risks and potential complications of the more commonly utilized services - Ability to audit, improve, and manage security policies, which requires a strong security background and a proven ability to think critically about security risks - Direct experience with refining security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving security decisions that align with the industry’s best practices
