All-round Service Technician - Batteries and Chargers

We are seeking an experienced All-round Service Technician to join our team, specializing in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of batteries and charging systems. In this role, you will be responsible for on-site customer service, ensuring optimal performance of battery and charger systems to prevent operational downtime.

Key responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance on batteries and chargers according to service plans and contracts. You will maintain forklift batteries and charging stations, ensuring cleanliness and proper fluid levels. Using various hand tools including pliers, spanners, screwdrivers, drills, and specialized equipment, you will independently repair and replace components as needed.

You will handle the complete process of connecting, configuring, testing, and commissioning new battery and charger installations at customer locations. This includes conducting required measurements and tests to verify proper functionality of repaired or replaced components. Additionally, you will perform hardware and software updates to ensure optimal system operation and carry out mandatory inspections and certifications.

The ideal candidate possesses MBO+ level education, preferably in Electrical Engineering, with hands-on experience working with electrical systems, particularly batteries and chargers. Knowledge of charging and discharging technology is highly valued. Required qualifications include a valid driving license and VCA certification, while NEN-3140 certification and forklift certification are preferred. Fluency in Dutch or good English communication skills is essential.
