You will not only develop models, but also help define the right questions, challenge assumptions and translate data-driven insights into practical decisions.\n\nThis position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys combining technical depth with business understanding and wants to take ownership beyond pure model development.\n\nYour responsibilities\n\n- Develop and apply machine learning and statistical models for business-relevant use cases\n- Work with complex datasets to identify patterns, risks and opportunities\n- Translate broad business questions into clear analytical approaches\n- Take ownership of projects from initial problem framing through to implementation and evaluation\n- Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and business functions\n- Apply a pragmatic mix of data analysis, statistics and machine learning depending on the problem\n- Communicate results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders\n- Contribute to improving how data is used for decision-making within the organization\n\nYour profile\n\n- Several years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning or a comparable analytical role\n- Strong knowledge of classical machine learning methods and statistical modeling\n- Good understanding of data analysis, model evaluation and applied statistics\n- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with common data science libraries\n- Experience working on open-ended problems with incomplete or changing requirements\n- Ability to take ownership of projects beyond isolated modeling tasks\n- Confident handling of data, ideally including SQL\n- Strong business understanding and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving\n- Very good communication skills in English\n- Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style\n- Based in the Munich area or open to relocating\n\nNice to have\n\n- Experience in data-intensive business environments\n- Experience applying machine learning or statistical methods to real-world business problems\n- Exposure to cloud environments, data pipelines or machine learning tooling\n- Experience working closely with analytics, engineering or business stakeholders\n\nInterested?
